This is my first level I've sent here. This is also the first of three different lava stages. Fortunately I have most of what I need, so building the next stage shouldn't take a long time.
Please tell me what you think!
I was just about to start my own fire-based level, hopefully it won't seem to be too much of a ripoff!

Wow. This level is beautiful. The volcanoes and smoke look amazing. Will there be a ship dedicated to this level soon? My one constructive criticism is that I would have liked to see a more involving, difficult boss. Can't wait for the next installment.
I don't know if I'll design a ship. If I plan on doing that, I would also design a bullet pattern for it, then design the whole stage with that bullet pattern in mind.
As for bosses, yeah I already know what the next two are going to be like, and they will be even better. This boss though is super-easy on Rookie and Pilot due to the way the difficulty system affects bullet patterns. The true power of the boss can only be seen in Ace mode, which is pretty brutal. Outside of Ace mode, the boss's attack is thrown out of whack.

Dude, this level is insane. I liked the overall look of the level, the volcanoes that spout lava, and the (as you so aptly put it) brutal bullet patterns on that end level boss. Definitely looking forward to your next one (after mastering this one on Ace - can't do it w/out 99 lives).

Wow, just wow... I'm in awe of every part of this level. However, I will never see the boss on Ace difficulty.
Just do what others did and use the Ninety-Nine cheat if you wanna see the end boss on Ace. It is possible without the cheat. It just requires some memorization of the stage and enemy attacks.

Definately the best level I've played so far! The enemy placement is really good.
This level is astounding. I died so much from looking at the scenery. :) Every thing from the clouds to the awesome volcanoes is really great. It looks like a level budcat would have made. I like your sprites, I just wish there were different kinds. I love your level. Definitely the best one on this site. I think to make it perfect, you should add some weaker, smaller enemies and all around more variety in your enemies. But as far as the stage goes, flawless. I look forward to more of your work.
This is such a great level. I can't believe it's your first. Though it's rough around the edges, for a user-made level, it's really great. It has really inspired my son and given him a lot of great ideas to work with.
